ICAE Winter Clothing Exchange

As we embrace the upcoming winter season, it warms our hearts to announce the Igbo Cultural Association of Edmonton Welfare Committee's Winter Clothing Exchange Drive for 2023. This initiative embodies the true spirit of community and compassion, and we invite all members to join hands in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those among us who may need a helping hand.

We understand that the biting cold of winter can be particularly challenging for newcomers to our beautiful city. To alleviate this burden, we are calling upon your generosity to donate gently used winter clothing that your children may have outgrown. These cozy items, such as sweaters, boots, mitts, and jackets, which have kept our kids warm in seasons past, can now find a new home with fellow members who are in need. Your contribution will not only warm hearts but also bodies during the chilly winter months.

The essence of this exchange drive is to foster unity and support within our community, as well as to create a network of mutual aid. Families in search of the next size up for their little ones are not only encouraged but warmly welcomed to participate.
