This Igbo proverb highlights that despite differences in ideas and goals, the

essence of community and unity lies in the shared purpose and mutual

support among its members.

As we welcome the month of August, it is important to reflect on the

recent challenges we faced and the positive resolution that followed. Our

community encountered some rifts and disagreements regarding the

hosting of specific cultural events. These challenges could have created

division, but through dedicated consultations and negotiations, we were
